Most of the landmarks you assume are out in the open, but actually require walking down narrow passages and turning down different streets. None of which is actually to difficult. There are signs everywhere, all the little alleyways have a plethora of different shops and restaurants, all of which have people speaking English, and many locals were will to help two obviously turned around tourists. Rome is an experience and I’m glad I am able to say I’m a part of it. However, I am looking forward to smaller towns and hopefully ocean breezes.
